| About Dr. Pai |

| Dr. Pai has over a decade of practice experience. He received his dental degree (DDS) from the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) in 1994. Dr. Pai's professional interests include dental public health, quality management, and community service. He received a Masters in Public Health (MPH) from Loma Linda University School of Public Health (1990) and a specialty certificate in Dental Public Health from UCSF (2004). In addition to being an experienced restorative dentist, Dr. Pai is a board eligible Public Health Dentist (American Board of Dental Public Health). Dr. Pai past experience includes: private practice dentistry, Dental Director of a United States Public Health Service (USPHS) sponsored non-profit Community Health Center, Officer in the Commissioned Corps (USPHS), faculty at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, and Quality Management Auditor for a dental plan. Dr. Pai has been active with numerous public health, school health, and community health activities and has received numerous community service awards. He has worked on community programs with school districts, Headstart programs, First 5 Commissions, county health departments, non-profit community-based organizations, ROP training programs, and other county, state, and federal programs. Dr. Pai is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Tri-County Dental Society, and American Association of Public Health Dentistry. Dr. Pai was born in the State of Hawaii and graduated high school from Hawaiian Mission Academy in 1982. He completed his undergraduate degree from Pacific Union College in Angwin, California in 1986. |
